Just a little bit of knitting, to satisfy the appetite for a Finished Object.

Fancy dishcloth!

Pattern: Round Dishcloth (Ravelry link)
Needles: US 6
Yarn: Lily Sugar n Cream for both colors
Started: October 20, 2010
Finished: October 26, 2010 (It took me longer to photograph than it took for me to knit!)
Mods: none.

Easy peasy.  I had to knit another dishcloth because I always knit them left-handed, and I needed to refresh that skill so that I can knit this next!

And no, your eyes are not deceiving you – it does want to pooch up in the center a little bit.  But it only does that when it’s dry.

So 2-handed stranded knitting here I come!  If you hear screams of frustration coming from the mid-west, you’ll know why.

I’ve yet to successfully knit something “left-handed” but I have very few problems doing two-handed stranded knitting (the first row is a little awkward and then my hands remember what they are supposed to be doing). As long as my right hand is busy with one color it doesn’t try to over-take the second color.

You can do it. If *anyone* I know can do excellent 2-color work, it’s you, Em.
