Cue the trumpets!
August 13, 2008 at 10:52 am | In FO, knitting | 5 CommentsDun-dun-dun-done!
Pattern: Smockie (Ravel it!)
Yarn: Madil Eden, less than 3 balls
Needles: US 4 for the skirt (KP Harmony), US 3 for the bodice (Addi turbo)
Size: 3-6 months
Mods: Ooh boy. I knit this one in the round instead of seaming. I also said screw it to their fancy edging, and used a little bit of Cro-Kay (i.e. pick up two stitches, bind off, pick up and bind off continue to end).
The buttons are the leftovers from Ladybug’s Reid cardigan.
I compared it size-wise to one of Pigeon’s 0-3 month dresses, and it is wider, so it really should be a size 3-6 month. How fortuitous!
Changing the subject – does anyone know what kind of plant this is?
It’s very tall and has little red flower like things on that center fluffy part. These things appeared this summer in the side flower bed, and I just want to know if they were intentional.
